The Cairngorms National Park which, at 3800 sq km, is the largest in Britain, was established in 2003 and is a wonderful location to spend the winter school holidays.
The Highlands of Scotland are known for their stunning natural heritage, safe communities and excellent quality of life, stretching from Caithness in the north to Badenoch and Strathspey in the south. Inverness is one of the fastest growing, vibrant cities in the UK. Nearby Loch Ness is a magnet for visitors eager to see the "monster".
