Lancashire School Half Term Dates For 2012, 2013 and 2014. When Are The School Holidays?
The Lancashire Countryside Service looks after and manages two Country Parks in the County, Beacon Fell near Goosnargh and Wycoller near Colne. Both Country Parks have
visitor centres and have facilities for school visits.
Programmes of events and activities are available. Beacon Fell has a cafe in the visitor centre, Wycoller has a privately run
cafe and craft centre. Visits to Lancashire's Country Parks are free of charge. Any other Country Parks are managed by District Councils.
There are more than 250 country parks in
the country attracting some 57 million visitors per year.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that these Lancashire half term holiday dates are accurate, there are occasions when
circumstances beyond our control may result in changes.
The Lancashire Local Authority determines the school term and holiday dates for community schools. Foundation and voluntary aided
schools are recommended to adopt the same pattern of dates.
